Module 1
The agile foundation
Why was agile created? What problems does it solve? The manifesto and its four values applied to daily work, not in theory. Why copying the practices without the principles produces agile theatre.
Module 2
The Scrum framework
Roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team), events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective), and artefacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment). Clear, practical, no jargon inflation.
Module 3
User stories, estimation, velocity
Writing user stories that development teams can work with. The INVEST criteria. Splitting large stories into deliverable slices. Story points, planning poker, and velocity as a planning tool rather than a performance metric.
Module 4
Backlog management and prioritisation

Full Scrum simulation
Teams form, select a Product Owner and Scrum Master, write user stories, estimate, plan a sprint, build (using a non-code simulation exercise), hold a review, and run a retrospective. Then they do it again. Two full sprint cycles in two days.
Pre-training diagnosis
If your team is already using Scrum, we assess what is working and what is broken before the training begins. The workshop addresses your specific dysfunctions, not a generic curriculum.
Real-time coaching

What is the ideal group size for this workshop?
We recommend 12 to 25 participants for the best learning experience. This size allows for realistic Scrum team formation, meaningful simulation exercises, and individual attention from the facilitator. We have run effective sessions for groups as small as 8 and as large as 30, depending on the format and objectives.

It depends on the format. The intensive in-person workshop runs for two full days with a complete Scrum simulation. The virtual program covers four half-day sessions over two weeks. The one-day essentials program covers the core framework quickly for teams with limited time.
